Progress

I started my quilt today that I talked about in my last post. I am excited. I was able to cut out all the pieces for the quilt top today and I began piecing them together about an hour ago. I wonder how long it will take me just to piece the top together? Anyway, I thought I would show the progress …

The picture above shows a close-up of the wrong side of the fabric that I am using for the focal point. If you look carefully at this picture, and the 2 following, you can see the template lines and the cutting lines. Always cut 1/4″ from the template on all sides to allow for sewing seams.

The picture below shows my supplies that I have aquired so far :) … I already know that I will need a bigger cutting mat and acrylic ruler for sure. Also you can see all the pieces cut and ready …

And below is a close-up of all the quilt top pieces cut and ready to be joined toger. I like this picture…

And so far I have sewn 3 strips of the 9 patch for the quilt. More to come, of course ;) …

I will post more progress as I get further along …

Peace…
